Ninth Grade Orientation

Magna Vista High School Starts the 2012-2013 School Year on the Right Foot
Over 600 Students and Parents in Attendance for Ninth Grade Orientation
Magna Vista High School hosted a ninth grade orientation for students and their families. The orientation was presented by the school's guidance department staff and administration to familiarize ninth grade students and their families with the academic program of studies as well as maneuvering the hallways to ensure students know how to locate each of their classrooms. Students received copies of their schedules and had the opportunity to walk to each of their classes and meet their teachers. Several community organizations and school partners were also present to inform students about many opportunities available to them such as Patrick Henry Community College's Upward Bound program and MHC-After 3's afterschool programming.
