Graduated from Patrick Henry Community College with a Degree in General Studies in 2000.

Graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Science - P.E./Health Wellness in 2003.

While at Averett earned the outstanding Achievement Awards in Chemistry, Sports Sciences, and Kinesiology.

Graduate Studies in Special Education were completed through Old Dominion University.

Earned a post-graduate teaching endorsement in Special Education K - 12 through the Virginia Department of Education.

Graduated from Averett University with a Master's Degree in Education:  Curriculum and Instruction in 2010.

Earned a teaching endorsement for Middle School Social Studies through the Virginia Department of Education in 2013.
