    Elementary Academic Awards Criteria
    Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade Students:

     

     

    Principal’s Scholar Awards:  Students must have earned all E’s on the academic portion of the report card and all S’s on the citizenship portion of the report card. For the end of the year awards, students must have earned Principal’s Scholar 4 of the 4 nine weeks. Students will receive a medallion.

    Academic Award:  Students must have earned all E’s on the academic portion of the report card.  Citizenship and study habits DO NOT factor into this award. For the end of the year awards, students must have earned the Academic Award 3 of the 4 nine weeks.  Students will receive a certificate.

    Honor Roll:  Students must have earned E’s and S’s on the academic portion of the report card (with at least one E) and all S’s on the citizenship portion of the report card. For the end of the year awards, students must have earned Honor Roll 3 of the 4 nine weeks. Students will receive a certificate.

    Citizenship:  Students must have earned all S’s on the citizenship portion of the report card. For the end of the year awards, students must have earned the Citizenship Award 4 of the 4 nine weeks and must be ineligible for the Principal’s Scholar Award or Honor Roll, as citizenship is included with these awards. Students will receive a certificate. Students who earn any in-school, out of school, or bus suspensions will not be eligible to receive the Citizenship Award.

    Attendance Award: Students must not miss more than 3 days for the entire year, and have a total of no more than 4 tardies AND early releases combined for the entire year. Students will receive a certificate.
