Please visit this link (click on the following bold type) CATS (Center for Accessible Technology in Sign) for one of the best online sign language dictionaries available. The Center for Accessible Technology in Sign (CATS) is a joint project between the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf and the Georgia Institute of Technology. CATS is dedicated to providing accessibility to learning via sign language. Their goal is to enhance language, literacy and general world knowledge for deaf learners, particularly children.
Along with an online ASL dictionary, you'll also have access to a wide variety of stories and poetry - there's even a cartoon/comic strip about deafness called "That Deaf Guy". This site is a great resource for families to get full early language access in an engaging way.
