Ms. Hines

Greetings! Prior to working for Henry County Public Schools, Ms. Hines dedicated herself to disseminating and implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis as the Youth Behavior Specialist for Piedmont Community Services in collaboration with HCPS. She has also provided Therapeutic Day Treatment services and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Ms. Hines received her bachelor's degree in Human Services from Bluefield College, a master's degree in Special Education and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She is currently pursuing certification through the Virginia Board of Medicine and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, exploring new places, going to music events, riding horses, and avidly playing volleyball. She has helped coach the Patrick County volleyball program for approximately three years at various levels and is the assistant volleyball coach at Patrick Henry Community College. Although she is a Patrick County native, she is excited to be joining the Lancer family!
