The new school year is quickly approaching. I look forward to a new group of students who will be winning at the Sport of Math.
Don't be fooled, Math is a sport. It requires that you learn new skills and that you practice those skills to become better. Like any
other sport, those that practice hard, perform better. I enjoy the example of Michael Jordan, who went from being an average
(or lower) basketball player to being the best ever. In his own words, this transformation came from hard work and practice. No
matter what your Math skills are at present, hard work and practice will make you better!
