Starting today, Sanville Elementary School is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program; a service-learning program that gives students the unique experience of working together to help raise awareness and funds in honor of thousands of children and adults fighting against blood cancers! We are asking that everyone at Sanville Elementary School to join in this effort of raising awareness and collecting funds to benefit the mission of LLS: to find cures for blood cancers and to improve the quality of life for patient and their families.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! YOUR SUPPORT IS CRUCIAL!
In 1964, the five-year survival rate for children with the most commonly diagnosed form of leukemia was 3%. Today, it’s approximately 90%. Every day we are getting closer to finding cures!
Heroes like Amari never take on cancer alone—they have squad of people around them helping them get better. When your school participates in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series campaign, it helps cancer patients like Amari by raising critical funds needed to support blood cancer research.
