Welcome to Mrs. Moran's 3rd Grade Class!
Lisa Moran - Room 508
IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING SCHOOL CLOSURE - MARCH 2020
I will update information through our Class Dojo app. If you have not signed up for Class Dojo, please e-mail me and I will send your child's code so that you have easy access to this information.
I keep my phone close to me most of the time, so feel free to reach me by Class Dojo or my email, which is firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. I am setting “Office Hours” daily from 8:00-9:00 AM, and again from 7:00-8:00 PM - Monday through Friday. During these times, I should be able to answer any questions immediately should you e-mail me or send messages through Dojo. If you need to speak with me directly, you may message me during my office hours, let me know your phone number, and I will call you right back so we can discuss any concerns.
Here, on my website, you will see the words “blog-Moran” on the left side of the screen. Click on that tab and you can type any messages there as well.
I will also post a list of assignments on my website and Class Dojo. As of now, this is the plan. If it needs to change, I will let you know.
As Mrs. Motley mentioned in her phone call last Friday, there are days set aside this week for you to bring completed work by and to pick up your child’s belongings as well as a new work packet. Those times are as follows:
Wed. - 4/1/20 – 5:30-7:30 PM; Thurs. - 4/2/20-10:00 AM-3:00 PM; and Fri. - 4/3/20 – 8:30 AM-1:30 PM.
Please tear out the completed lessons from the COACH books and make sure your child’s name is on each page. If possible, you can staple the packets to keep it all together or put packets in a large envelope. I will check the work and return it to you the next time we have a drop-off, pick up date.
Thank you for all you are doing to help your child succeed. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any needs your child may need concerning schoolwork.Welcome to Mrs. Moran's 3rd Grade Class!2019/2020 Daily Schedule7:30-8:00 Breakfast/Restroom/Morning Duties8:05-9:30 Math9:30-10:10 Guided Reading Groups10:10-10:35 Whole Group Comprehension10:35-10:55 Whole Group Grammar10:55-11:25 Writing Workshop11:25-11:45 Beginning of Science or Social Studies11:45-12:15 LUNCH12:15-12:55 Complete Science or Social Studies12:55-1:00 Restroom1:00-1:45 Itinernant1:45-2:30 SSR/System 44/Small Group Work2:35 DepartPARENTS: Please get a head start on helping your child learn his/her multiplication tables.
