Mrs. Melissa Broadstreet
Hello Warriors!
I am both honored and thankful to be joining the Magna Vista family this year, and I am looking forward to working with the entire school community to help Magna Vista continue its history of excellence.
While not quite homegrown, I did grow up in the neighboring, small community of Henry in Franklin County, Virginia. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Tropical Horticulture from the University of Hawaii, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Morningside College, and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from James Madison University. My journey as an educator over the last 17 years has allowed me to teach in North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia, and I am so thankful that my path has led me to Magna Vista High School.
My passion for education lies in building strong relationships with students and their families, fostering high expectations, and facilitating student growth as they strive to attain all of their goals for the future.
Together, we will not only make this a fantastic year, but also help lay a foundation for an even brighter tomorrow.
I am here to help!
