I have been with Henry County Public Schools for 21 years.  I began at Rich Acres Elementary as a Special Education Self-contained Teacher and after 8 years there, I became the Response to Intervention and 504 Coordinator for 4 years.  Then, I came to FC to the Developmental Reading Exploratory Class for 4 years using Scholastic's Read 180/System 44 program.  Now, I am in my fifth year of co-teaching Math to students with learning disabilites in 8th grade to develop their mathematical abilities to a higher/proficient level.   I have a degree in Business from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree in Education from Old Dominion, and coursework from George Mason, UVA, and VWCC.  I am also certified to teach Driver's Education!
