Mrs. Perry's Third Grade Class
All About Mrs. Perry:
My name is Amy Mickles Perry. I am married to my wonderful husband, Stacy. We have two daughters and a son.
Sarah graduated from Appalachian State with a science and biology degree. She lives and works in North Carolina. Taylor graduated from
Longwood University with a degree in elementary education. She is married to our son-in-law Jason and is a fourth grade teacher at Carver
Elementary School. They are expecting our first grandchild in December. We are so excited! Vance will be a sixth grader at Laurel Park Middle
School and enjoys playing basketball, Legos, and being outside with his dog. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies I enjoy are
reading, exercising, cooking, crafting, and listening to music. I adore living on our farm where there is never a dull moment!
I have lived in Henry County most of my life. I graduated from Bassett High School and Averett University. My husband graduated from Carver back when it was a high school! This will be my twentieth year teaching and I have taught second and third grade at Carver and Rich Acres during my teaching career. I absolutely love teaching and want all of my students to leave me with a genuine love for learning (especially reading and writing). Please let me know if at any time you have questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. (957-2226 or firstname.lastname@example.org..us) It is going to be a great year!
