Reminders: Please see your child's planner and behavior sheet each week. Please remember to sign the behavior sheet and planner daily. Please return the green folder and planner and any homework assignments each day. This is part of the citizenship grade.
On Thursday March 12th your child brought home a two week packet. One part was Math and the other part was Reading. Have your child complete one page for Math and one Page of the Reading daily. This will give them practice for this extended time that we out for the Coronavirus. Should we be out longer than the two week period, another packet may be coming home to your student. Also, a Math Book and Reading Book were sent home for additional practice. Please have your child practice reading at least 15 to 20 minutes daily. Ask them questions about what they just read. Have them retell the stories to you by telling you who are the characters, what is the setting, and name 3 main events that happened in the story. If it is a non-fiction story, have them tell you what is the main idea and what were 3 details that supported the main idea.
If you have any questions about any of the work that was sent home, please feel free to e-mail me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am hoping we will get back to school soon! I hope everyone is safe and doing well. Please let your students know that I miss them very much and hope to see them soon!
