The purpose of Title I federal funding is to ensure that all children have fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. The Virginia School Report Card provides information about the performance of Virginia's schools. School accreditation and federal accountability ratings for a specific school year are based on student achievement on tests taken during the previous academic year. See the HCPS report card here.
